Background Information

Al-Imam elementary, middle and high school, Ahmed Gurey is one of the first schools to take over the Somali community after the collapse of the central government in 1991. The school was founded in 1997 I have implemented and assisted in building and investing in Africa’s Muslim Agency (Africa Muslim Agency, لجنة مسلمي إفريقيا) now known as DIRECT AID جمعية العون المباشر  until the time the school is exposed has been overwhelmed or overcrowded by the number of students nearly 7000 boys of all boys .As well, they have graduated from university level and completed university and foreign universities. This school has a Student Club that all students who graduated during the school year. This club is called NAKADSA by the name of our students at Ahmed Gurey High School. ” The idea of ​​Nakadsa’s club was the former Alustad School administrator, Abdimajid Hassan Nuh. Vision
Al-imam al-Mahmoud Elementary Primary School is aiming for the long-term development of a social interaction that is based on the prevention and reliance of civil wars, creating a climate of peace, enhancing security and promoting the Somali people and the Somali society.

Mission
It seeks to achieve a standardized and credible system of education based on knowledge, cooperation, unity, mutuality and commonality. The school also aims to provide quality education for the Somali community.

School curriculum
The curriculum of the school is the Somali national curriculum designed to address the basic needs of the student. It is studied in the Arabic language and the Somali language of the two languages. In addition, the school uses English language instruction to teach students the science subjects (physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics)
